Vaness del Moral ventures behind the scenes

Not everyone in the world of showbiz is gifted with a superb staying power. Not everyone manages to have the ability to hang on as time goes by. It should really come along with appeal to the public, sheer acting talent and smart decisions. Just like Starstruck season 3 avenger and GMA Artist Center talent Vaness del Moral. Through the years, Vaness has proven the viewing public that she is indeed an actress. Confirmed by her numerous shows, Vaness has stayed in the industry for quite some time. Now Vaness tries something new and enters the colorful world of film production.
 
It started with her theatre-play-director-scriptwriter-friend Joey Paras who handed her a script for a possible independent horror film. He’s looking for someone who will help him produce and make the film come into being. Vaness read the script, liked it and, as what they say, the rest is history. Vaness became the producer and assistant director of the film.
 
It’s a new experience for Vaness since she’s always been the one in front of the camera. After three straight days and two separate shooting days, “HANTU” was born. A horror film about a father and a daughter who went to a resort and hence discovered mysterious happenings there. Vaness with the other staff conducted a special screening for the movie. They really tried to find out what the viewer’s reactions will be and so far, she’s more than happy with the results.
 
“Happy-ng happy naman ako sa outcome ng film lalo na that I got the chance to be a part of the production team as an assistant director. Talagang hands-on ka and fulfilling ang feeling”, said Vaness.
 
Also according to Vaness, they’re planning to market the film for the public and have it shown in selected cinemas by the end of February. Vaness is more than excited for this new project.
