Kapuso actress LJ Reyes held a thanksgiving charity event at Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital where she got to bond with mothers. In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, LJ shared the reason why she chose to have the event at the public hospital.
"I chose it because it's close to my heart. It was a setting for an advocacy film I did before and it really showed me how much more we can do. I am so blessed that I can do something and share with them these blessings in my own little way," said she.
Aside from getting the chance to bond and meet with mothers and newborns, LJ also had the thanksgiving event because she has a lot to be thankful for this year and that it's only right for her to pay her blessings forward.
According to her, "First, I always thank God that He provides me and my family good health. It has been a great year for me, TV shows, travel, self-reflection, business, meeting new friends, endless provision! There has been a lot of dream projects that was answered this year. It's like He's giving me time to do everything I like doing slowly. I also want to thank God for being my fortress. He has been a pillar of strength. Then He also gave me such an amazing family who all the more makes me feel that this life is so beautiful."
As an advocate for all mothers, LJ created the phone application she calls MApp or the Smart Mommy App. LJ also promised that proceeds from her app will go to Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital. And for all the avid users of MApp, LJ also shared a few exciting details and features that they can soon expect from the app.
"Expect that we will continue to grow our data, and we will work on an improved interface to be more visual and easier to use. MApp will also continue to look for the product that will give solutions to our fellow parents."
Congratulations and great job, LJ! May more blessings come your way.
