In the Philippines, papaya is most often associated with skin whitening soaps.
But eating papaya, as opposed to just rubbing it on the skin, has many health benefits too.
According to Healthline, papaya is loaded with antioxidants that can reduce inflammation. It also has vitamin C, vitamin A, and folate.
Chef Gilly Gomez shares three recipes which can help you introduce papaya to your diet.
