Actress LJ Reyes couldn't hold back her tears in her latest vlog as she navigates a week without her partner, Paolo Contis.
In the 16-minute video, LJ shares that she's feeling a bit scared knowing that there will be people entering her house to fix their internet service.
She tells the camera while wearing a full set of face protection, “Sa totoo lang, I'm scared kasi nung una ayaw kong pumayag na people will come to our house.
“Nahihiya rin ako sa mga technician kasi they had to go through the balcony to get inside kasi tinatry ko talaga 'yung pinakakonting exposure ng lahat ng tao sa bahay.”
Her voice then cracks as if she was about to burst into tears.
Keeping her composure she goes on to say, “Sobrang nakakatakot kasi hindi ako lumabas the whole time.
“Once lang ako lumabas and hindi rin ako nagpaexpose sa maraming tao when I went out and sobrang scary lang, especially now na sobrang dami ng cases.
“Na-stress ako at gusto kong masuka sa stress.
“Maybe some people will find it too paranoid but sa totoo lang guys kung ako lang, okay lang naman. But I have two kids in the house and siguro mas takot ako kasi wala si Paolo.”
Aside from having the house all to her own, the Kapuso actress proudly shares that she'll be re-pursuing her studies as classes will be resuming online.
She recalls, “Maybe some of you don't know but when I joined StarStruck, I was in high school.
“Back then, I still pursued continuing my studies even na nasa showbiz na ako.
“It was very difficult kasi hindi ko makuha lahat ng subjects ko so pakonti-konti lang until I had Aki. I had to pause.
“And then bumalik ako after I had Aki for a term.
"Medyo nahirapan ako ulit kasi with the busy schedule and kasi I was a single mom as well.”
She says that through online learning, she can regain the opportunity to finally get her diploma while still being a mom to her kids -- Aki and Summer Ayana.
"Nahihirapan talaga ako but then nagkaroon ng opportunity na to.
“I would be able to take some classes again, sobrang biglaan. So ang kukuhanin ko is yung mga minor subject at very few classes.
“It's kinda overwhelming.”
