Painit na nang painit ang mga eksena sa "Ngayon at Kailanman" ng Dramarama sa Hapon. Naging bali-balita noon that Heart Evangelista was a bit hesitant in accepting the lead role in the afternoon drama, Ngayon At Kailanman because of its timeslot. "When I left Luna Mystika, with my managers and everyone around me, they did not want me to do afternoon," recalls Heart sa isang iGMA interview sa set. “I didn't really expect our soap to do well, unlike All My Life stars Kris and Aljur’s [“Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?”] because they're new in the industry and they did an afternoon soap. Parang it was the first step [for them]. "But for me to do an afternoon soap, I thought it was a step back, and then I didn’t know it was a big step forward pala," she confesses. Heart even stresses na panibagong challenge din sa kanya ang character na si Ayra, as well as the concept of afternoon soaps: "I've never had a character na palaban that wasn’t in a [telefantasya] or anything. She's very strong…and I have fun with that. I'm actually happy with this soap because it's something you can play around with. Kasi sa prime time, nagmamadali kayo lahat…Kasi sa hapon, there [are] no effects, there’s no hype about the show, it’s just all pure talent. And there are just so many artistas, so it's really an effort talaga." Kamusta naman ang kanyang working relationship with her co-stars? "We all get along. We bond! I totally love Ms. Mel (Kimura), she's really, really nice. She’s the most honest person ever. [Si] Arci (Muñoz), actually, our parents were kababata before in San Juan, (Greenhills) so we also have a history. I think her dad is Spanish and my mom is Spanish so their families know each other, so it’s a small world," happily answers Heart. What’s next for Ngayon At Kailanman? "Please continue watching. The plot thickens. I'm excited for you guys to see what's gonna happen to all the characters. And I'm so thankful that [viewers] appreciated the show--our hard work. It is an achievement for us."
