Pancho Magno and Max Collins with son Skye after his delivery

Kapuso couple Max Collins and Pancho Magno talk about the their new life with son Skye Anakin.

"Masaya na mahirap."

That's how Max Collins and Pancho Magno described their feeling after welcoming their first child, Skye Anakin, last July 7.

"Mahirap pala kasi every hour ako nagpi-feed, but then it's fulfilling pala.

"The whole time during labor, gusto ko talagang umiyak pero pinipigilan ko dahil ma-stress [si Pancho] so sabi ko, after ko manganak saka ako iiyak pero sa sobrang tuwa ko, hindi ako nakaiyak.

"Iba 'yung joy, pure happiness, priceless lang talaga 'yung moment na 'yun no'ng lumabas siya after all the pain," Max shared in a Zoom interview with GMANetwork.com recently.

To our Son, Skye Anakin, you are one of the reasons why i believe in God. Can't wait to be your bestfriend. To my amazing wife, you are also one of the reasons why i believe in God, ❤️ you did everything with no medications and no tear. There are NO WORDS to describe what you did. I love you and your heart! You are meant to be a Mother. P.S. To all the moms out there! Much love and respect! ❤️. Thank you to our Delivery team, Ms. Irina our Doula and Ms. Aileen and Ms. Charm our midwives.

One of the many challenges that they are experiencing is having sleepless nights because newborn babies have not developed their circadian rhythm, or biological clock, yet.

"Walang tulog so puyat, gano'n talaga so anytime 'yung body clock n'ya magiging same as ours din," Pancho, who formerly worked as a registered nurse, explained.

"Sobrang fun dahil nakakatitig lang kami sa kanya every night."

Amid the excruciating pain, Max is very much thankful to her husband for sticking by her side from her 10-hour labor until the delivery via water birth at home.

She recounted. "10 hours akong nag-labor, madaling araw 'yon, like 3:30 a.m. nag-CR ako, nag-number two ako, and then nag-number two ako ulit. Tapos isa pa, tapos sabi ko parang iba na 'to, tapos nag-start na 'yung contraction.

"Tapos ti-nime namin 'yung contaction sa app so it said na it's time to go to the hospital. So that's the time na tinawagan namin 'yung midwife and dula ko, and then ayon na tuloy-tuloy na 'yung contraction until nanganak ako.

"Siya talaga 'yung nag-ayos, siya 'yung nag-asikaso ng lahat kasi in pain ako no'ng time na 'yun but it was really easy.

"Ang mahirap lang siguro 'yung pag-inflate ng pool, paglipat ng pool sa kuwarto, and then pinuno nila ng tubig. 'Yung challenge was the pain so pangontra ng pain, minassage n'ya ko for about 10 hours."

Max then emphasized, "Nanganak ako, but parang nanganak na rin siya dahil sa hirap na pinagdaanan ko. Siya 'yung leader ng araw na 'yun."

Likewise, Pancho can't say anything but good words towards his wife.

The Descendants of the Sun actor said, "Para siyang dream. It's a miracle na nagawa namin to lahat, ng teamwork namin, and then now merong isang life [na nabuhay].

"Ang naramdaman ko no'n is pure love, 'yung love ng mom sa baby boy and then naniniwala talaga ko sa mama's boy. Iba 'yung love no'ng mommy."
