Kris Bernal encourages people to stay at home: “Let's take care of each other by staying home.”
Actress-entrepreneur Kris Bernal joins calls of experts and government officials urging everyone to stay at home as the COVID-19 cases in the country continues to rise.
In an Instagram post, the actress-entrepreneur was saddened about the plight of her fellow business owners during this pandemic.
She wrote, “It's just my third day out since this whole quarantine! Just to run essential errands--limiting my time in stores, focusing on finding what I need, and exiting quickly.
“It's heartbreaking to see stores closed, shut down, or wala man lang customers. Hay, nasasaktan din ako para sa ibang business owners.”
Even though its heartbreaking to see that these businesses are struggling, Kris stressed the importance of avoiding going outside to stop the spread of the virus.
“Pero, napakahirap at nakakatakot pa rin talaga so I still encourage everybody to STAY AT HOME.
“Let's take care of each other by staying home. As has been repeated again and again, the virus is out there! And, it's now more infectious! #STAYHOME.”
According to the latest data of the Department of Health, the Philippines recorded 50,359 cases of COVID-19, while 1,314 perished.
Kris Bernal owns a House of Gogi restaurants and SHE Cosmetics.
