'Unang Hirit' host Lyn Ching got to interview Tom Hanks and Director Ron Howard for their new film, 'inferno,' in Singapore.

Unang Hirit host Lyn Ching got to interview her favorite actor, Hollywood living legend Tom Hanks, in the premiere red carpet event of his newest film Inferno at the Art Science Museum in Singapore.

Although his leading lady in the film, English actress Felicity Jones wasn’t able to join him, the American actor was all praises for her.

He said, “Felicity and I were joined in the course of making this movie so we had a lot of interactions. I think it made me a better actor because she’s as good as she is.”

Hanks has been in the industry for more than half of his life, but the 60-year-old actor and filmmaker still finds it challenging to do a new movie, “There’s no easy way to do it. You never get to say, ‘Today will be an easy day’ because you’ve got to ramp up. I wish it got easier.”

His upcoming mystery thriller film this October was adapted from the controversial author Dan Brown’s novel, 'Inferno.'

When asked if they changed anything in the movie, Director Ron Howard told the morning show that he indeed altered the original story for his film.

“We continued to work with Dan Brown on the adaptation, and while he doesn’t have control of it, he doesn’t necessarily agree with all our changes, [but] he’s very supportive and [understanding],” the actor-turned-director said.

He and Hanks have been working together since the first release of the Robert Langdon series, The Da Vinci Code in 2006, and they are gearing towards producing the fourth sequel, The Lost Symbol.

“I’ve had such a great time revisiting it after a long break. I think I’m very much looking forward to the next one,” he confirmed in the report.
