Kapuso actress Wyn Marquez will dress up as a 'Pintados warrior queen' for the national costume competition of the Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 pageant.

The costume was created by fashion designer Edwin Uy who also designs accessories, wedding gowns and formal wear for men and women. 

He designed the national costume for Chanel Olive Thomas during the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 pageant. Chanel went on the win the Best in Costume award, aside from being hailed as Miss Friendship and being crowned as Binibining Pilipinas Supranational. 

Uy also designed a national costume for Mr. Philippines Paul Guarnes which was hailed 2nd runner-up in the Best National Costume competition of Mister Universal Ambassador 2017.
