On November 21, personalities in the industry were recognized by the Walk of Fame in Eastwood City.
The Walk of Fame Philippines, under Walk of Fame organization was shaped by German “Kuya Germs” Moreno 12 years ago. The non-stock, non-profit organization commenced to give credit to successful personalities in movies, television, radio, and music who provided a positive influence in their distinction.
Three Kapuso personalities were given a star in different categories for contributing their talent in news and entertainment in the Philippines. Solenn Heussaff and Kris Bernal were the inductees for their performances in television and Atom Araullo is part of the news and public affairs category.
Other inductees this 2017 were Mother Lily Monteverde, Empoy Marquez, Matteo Guidicelli, Mely Tagasa, Joe D’ Mango, Jake Zyrus, Parokya ni Edgar, Direk Freddie Cruz, Karen Davila, Anthony Taberna, and Tulfo brothers.
Posthumous inductees were Chichay, Direk Maning Borlaza, Joe Taruc, Direk Eddie Romero and Isabel Granada.
