After hosting the iconic talk show SiS from 2001-2010, Gelli de Belen drifted to other networks to explore various career opportunities. Now, the veteran actress returns to her home of over a decade to star in the upcoming series, Ika-5 Utos.

In an exclusive interview with Gelli, she said that she's glad to be back in GMA.

"It's really nice to see old faces that I've worked with before or have known a long time. 'Yun 'yung pinaka masaya sa pagbabalik and pati 'yung welcome ng mga tao, it's also really heartwarming. I feel really at home with everybody, they made me feel welcomed so siyempre masaya ako," she said.

Gelli will get to work with her niece, Inah de Belen, in Ika-5 Utos. Does she have any expectations for the young actress in the show?

"Wala naman masyado, I don't want to expect anything from her kasi ayoko siyang ma-pressure. It's just exciting that we'll be working together sa soap, aarte. Really, I don't want to expect anything, I don't want her to be nervous or anxious about working with me. Basta steady lang."

Lastly, Gelli shared that just like Ika-6 Na Utos, their upcoming drama series is set to bring just as much drama and intrigue to the viewers.

According to her, "I think maganda siya, it's worth watching, especially the first week. Kami ni Jean [Garcia], we were talking about the script, the first week is so packed with lahat ng kailangan ilagay just to establish each character and each plot. Ang solid niya. It's a good story, I think people will be intrigued."
