Kapuso singers take part in an artistic campaign against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Eight Kapuso singers have collaborated with other singers to revive the 2019 SEA Games official theme song, "We Win As One," composed by National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab and written by playwright and director Floy Quintos.
As the coronavirus disease 2019 globally takes its toll, "We Win As One" is re-arranged and re-written based on the challenges posed by the pandemic, giving it a new title "We Heal As One."
With its new lyrics, "We Heal As One" reflects timely and humane artistic response to the global health crisis we all must win together.
The Kapuso singers who took part in this health campaign are Alden Richards, Julie Anne San Jose, Aicelle Santos, Christian Bautista, Mark Bautista, Rita Daniela, Ken Chan, and Pops Fernandez.
Other singers, who lent their voices to this effort, are Lani Misalucha, Apl de Ap, Lea Salonga, Gary Valenciano, Sarah Geronimo, Menchu Lauchengco, Jed Madela, Robert Seña, Isay Alvarez, Ogie Alcasid, Iñigo Pascual, Michael Williams, Bamboo, and Paolo Valenciano.
