multimedia artist sam morales accused of catfishing


Several transwomen have called out multimedia artist Sam Morales for alleged catfishing and asking for private photos and videos.

Netizens especially those from the local LGBT community have voiced out the alleged injustice done by multimedia artist and photographer named Sam Morales.

A series of tweets from a transwoman college student from Cebu, identified as Jzan Vern on Twitter, spread like wildfire after she revealed how Morales fooled her into thinking she was chatting with a straight man identified as Bill Iver Reyes.


According to Jzan's tweets, she met Bill through a dating app.

They engaged in an online friendship, which later on turned into a long-distance relationship--Jzan was a student in Cebu and Bill was residing in Manila.

Jzan admitted she and Bill have exchanged intimate photos privately, and they went as far as planning to live together in Cebu.

Bill promised Jzan he would visit her in Cebu soon, but that plan came crashing down as he suddenly couldn't make it because of a family emergency, which was backed up by his cousin, Sam Morales, who explained why Bill couldn't make it to the airport.


Jzan forgave Bill and the two rekindled their online relationship.

Later on, she planned a trip to Manila to visit Bill.

The two finally met in person for the first time, and Jzan was finally convinced that Bill was real.

It didn't take for her happiness to come crashing down as Bill suddenly wanted to break up with her and even left her alone near the airport.

Jzan ended up meeting her friends in Manila the next day, and after telling them what happened and showing them photos of Bill, one of her friends recognized who the guy in the photo really is--a man named Bilko Argana.

Despite the initial shock of the sudden breakup, Jzan and Bill patched up and continued their long-distance relationship after she went back to Cebu.

Bill later on apologized for lying and said he didn't expect their relationship to become so serious that's why he initially lied about his real identity. Jzan forgave Bill.

After a few months, Jzan visited Manila again with friends. She then asked Bill if they could meet and he agreed, but Bill asked if his cousin Sam could join.

Jzan agreed and she, Bill, and Sam all met when she arrived in Manila. Sam later on left the two.

While Jzan and Bill were finally alone in their hotel room, Bill admitted that all this time it was Sam texting Jzan.

Sam was texting Jzan all throughout the relationship and pretending to be Bill.

According to Jzan's recent tweets, an apologetic Sam reached out to her after the revelation to explain her side, sighting childhood bullying done by homosexuals fueled her need for revenge by targeting gay or trans people and making them fall in love.

After Jzan's big revelation, other transwomen spoke up about experiencing the same from Sam Morales.


Other social media influencers such as Mimiyuuuh have also expressed their anger at the disrespect and lies.


Sam Morales, who claims to be affiliated with fashion brands such H&M and Jag, has yet to make an official statement against the accusations.
