The two showbiz icons opened by telling the viewers how they became friends in the industry.

“We never really became that close kasi when Pops entered show business, siyempre naintriga kami,” Sharon initiated.

The Concert Queen related that she's actually a shy person.

“I think I got really diyahe. I'm really mahiyain. For those of you who don't know at kung hindi po halata, mahiyain po ako,”

It was then that Sharon revealed that she never thought Pops would be a singer, “Nagulat ako na naging singer siya.”

The seasoned singers also shared that despite their age, they feel younger and freer today more than ever.

“We make our own choices and my choice is I want to be 28 for a long time. I actually feel younger now. I don't know why,” Pops shared.

To which Sharon replied: “And freer. Parang we've earned our stripes in the show business.”

The Centerstage judge also linked the topic to their lifestyle and culture in the past.

“I think it's also because our parents were super, super strict. We're not allowed to do a lot of stuff.

“Nu'ng araw, for the millennials who are watching, sobra talaga kaming binabantayan, sinasamahan,” said Pops.
