Paolo Contis turned emotional when he learned that he has to be away from his family for a week. “Hindi ko na-anticipate 'yung lungkot."
Kapuso comedian Paolo Contis got emotional as he documented his life without his wife, LJ Reyes, and their children, Aki and Summer.
Paolo shot his latest project in which he needed to stay at their location for a week.
“Medyo iba episode natin ngayon. Kung napapansin niyo, hindi kami magkasama ni LJ, nasa kotse ako,” he said at the beginning of his vlog.
Usually, Paolo and LJ vlog about their family time in their respective channels. One of their videos was about them hilariously exchanging house roles for a day.
“After a long time, I have to go back to work, medyo matagal, one week akong mawawala, one week ko silang hindi makakasama.
“The moment I left the house kanina, medyo hindi ko na-anticipate 'yung lungkot,” Paolo said while holding back his tears.
Paolo then shared what the new normal would be like in tapings, as the production team wore personal protective equipment, face masks, and safety goggles.

After his work, he needed to be isolated in a room in their house to make sure he didn't have the virus.
“8 days akong nawala for a shoot. I'm home na (4 days na) pero naka-isolate pa ako sa isang kwarto at hindi ko pa sila malapitan, mayakap, mahalikan, o mahawak man lang,” he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
“I'm just making sure siyempre na safe at wala akong nauwing sakit.”
