Exuding debonair charm and oozing with confidence, Aljur Abrenica ruled the runway at the Green Invasion fashion show held in K-Pub, The Fort last August 3. GMANetwork.com caught up with the Kapuso hot property after the show.
Aljur was a certified head-turner in his perfectly tailored suit by M Barretto. He posed and walked with his on-screen love team, Kris Bernal.
The dashing actor mentioned that he really liked what he wore at the show. He has worked with M Barretto before, and he trusts the talented designer’s creative vision.
Had Aljur not walked at the fashion show, what would he have worn to the event? “Naka polo, naka suit din, basta importante naman presentable ka at saka nakaplantsa lahat ng suot mo at dalhin mo lang siya nang may full confidence,” replied Aljur.
Aljur is also a fan of vintage pieces, be it a jacket or a shirt. He is also very particular with how his jeans fit. But did you know that behind Aljur’s scorching hot physique and swoon-worthy moreno features is an old soul?
“I’m an old-fashioned guy. Sobrang makata at makabayan ako. Uso sa akin ‘yung naghaharana,” stated Aljur.
When it comes to wooing the ladies, Aljur does it the classic way.“Nanghaharana talaga ako ng old-fashioned na harana, ‘yung sa bahay talaga. ‘Pag may special na tao sa buhay ko, ‘yun ang ginagawa ko. It’s my way of showing appreciation and expressing my feelings para sa kanya,” explained Aljur.
Onscreen, Aljur will also be portraying a character as romantic as himself. He will be starring in a Primetime series with Kris Bernal as his leading lady.
“This is our 11th project together. Itong Prinsesa ng Masa, long story eh, pero drama na may pagkacomedy ,” he shared.
Aljur added, “Ang pagkakaiba ng Kris and Aljur noon sa ngayon, mas makulay ‘yung trabaho namin, lalo na when it comes to the characters [we potray]. We make sure na every character na ginagampanan namin, mas lumalalim habang tumatagal.”
Aljur currently leads team Ligang iLike on Sunday All Stars. Watch out for his return to Primetime in Prinsesa ng Masa, soon on GMA. -Text by Samantha Portillo, Photo by Bochic Estrada, GMANetwork.com
