Why did you enter showbusiness?
"At first to enjoy lang kasi bakasyon. Ayaw ng parents ko pero nagtuluy-tuloy na tapos three years after sinabi nila marunong ako umarte, so tuluy-tuloy na yon."
What do you consider as the turning point in your career?
"Noong 1997, big hype sa akin noon, ako daw yung youngest nominated sa mga award-giving bodies in two categories as Best Actor at Best Supporting Actor para sa movie naMangarap Ka at Matimbang Pa Sa Dugo.
If you weren’t in showbiz, what kind of career would you have?
"Year 2001 nagta-try out na ako for MBA (Metro Basketball) baka sa sports ako or sa hotel siguro."
What is your biggest frustration/regret?
"Yung ‘dark side’ ng buhay ko dahil na-blow out na parang hard core pero hindi naman. Actually yung problema ko was very mild and kaya ko pinagsisisihan yung mga ‘bad parts’ dahil nakakasira sa image."
What do most people not know about you?
"Yung ibang tao iniisip nila yung pinagdaanan ko masyadong dark but it's not really darkmalamang katulad ko lang yung marami. I'm athletic and with all humility I could call myself 'The King of the Streets' in basketball."
What is your most unforgettable moment/ experience?
"Syempre yung pinagdaanan ko na eleven months and yung first time that I ever touched the top of the ring, kasi yung katabi ko ka-height ko lang tumalon inabot niya tapos naisipko abutin ko rin kaya? Tapos tumalon ako, hindi ako confident na maaabot ko peronaabot ko din so from that day nagda-dunk na kami."
What are you most proud of?
"Magaling ako sa basketball. I'm proud to be the son of Rudy Fernandez and Alma Moreno, proud ako na artista ako, proud ako na kasama ako sa GMA."
What do you value most?
"My knees, my teeth, my blood and of course my career and my family."
What do you want to achieve?
"To win an award. To achieve more stability financially. A nicer house. I want to be forever in show business at gusto ko talaga mapasok ang comedy, gusto ko maging Jim Carey."
What is your advice to aspiring artists?
"Mahalin mo ang trabaho mo para mahalin ka rin ng trabaho mo."
