Back from her retreat from the Holy Land, Lorna Tolentino looks to be ready to slowly get back to what she loves doing--being in show business. In a recent endorsement launch which GMA-7 arranged for her, it was a livelier Lorna Tolentino who faced the press and hinted that she may be returning to work sooner that expected. Fresh from traveling with her sons Ralph and Renz in Jerusalem, Lorna appeared spirited and seemed to be preparing herself for more public appearances. "Ready to work you mean? Inuunti-unti ko like this one (product endorsement). Ito naman hindi talaga 'yung everyday na trabaho, di ba?" she answered when asked about her immediate plans. Likewise, she is bent on concentrating on establishing the Rudy Fernandez Cancer Foundation, which would provide hope and means to those afflicted with cancer. "I think it's [in donating] more of the medicines," she explained. "Kasi pinakamahal naman [ay] 'yung pag nag che-chemotherapy so kahit makatulong ka ng ilang chemo sessions maginhawa [at] malaking bagay." And she is more set to lend a helping hand to those in need as she experienced what she herself considers a small miracle. She was happy to give the good news from her last medical checkup due to a condition she had causing her veins to swell. "So nagpa-MRI [ulit] ako. Paglabas ko talagang nagulat ako. Wala lahat. Talaga, it's a miracle," she recalled. She may have recently experienced the devastating loss of a loved one; however, judging from the signs and recent fortunes of LT, we may be lucky enough to get to see her more often to wish her more good things to come.
