Veteran star Ms. Gloria Romero expressed her gratitude to the management of Kapuso Network for their immense trust in her, especially now that she's been entrusted with a new project.
In an interview with the entertainment press during the grand press conference of her new weekly magical anthology show, Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko, Ms. Gloria was feeling a little bit emotional that despite her age she was given a starring role, that of Lola Goreng.
She explained, “Actually, I am so blessed talaga na sa edad kong ito binibigyan pa ako ng isang role na ganito. Maraming salamat, GMA.”
Ms. Gloria added that she has never lost the energy for acting and every new project gives her so much excitement.

Ms. Gloria also lauded the young actors in Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko, who according to her, are all extremely talented.
“And this one, this particular one, talagang matagal kong inintay isang role na ganito, nakakabata talaga. At kay Direk, thank you so much, thank you for your patience Direk.”
Meanwhile, Direk Rico Gutierrez also discussed with the press what makes their show different from other kid fantasy programs on TV.
He added, "So, ‘yung treatment namin for this show every Sunday iba-ibang story, iba-iba rin ang makikita niyo. For example ‘yung pilot episode namin animation, ‘yung second naman may puppets.”
