Last June 30, the premiere night of the Richard Gutierrez-Marian Rivera film, My Lady Boss was held at SM Megamall Cinema 10. Cheered on by fans and welcomed in a jampacked theater, Marian Rivera’s star power definitely shined through.

Backstage before the screening of the film, the Primetime Queen was interviewed by select members of the press.

My Lady Boss marks Marian Rivera’s second movie team-up with Richard Gutierrez after 5 years. Their previous film, My Best Friend’s Girlfriend was a box office hit, thanks to the undeniable chemistry between the two stars.

Judging from the legion of fans who screamed everytime there was a romatic scene between Richard and Marian in the film, the chemistry is still there. Marian owes this to the familiarity and friendship she has with her leading man.

She added that shooting the movie with Richard was such a light and fun experience.

When asked whether being a lady boss was an arduous task, Marian replied, “Sa totoong buhay? Ay, ang hirap! Tsaka depende siguro.

She was also asked regarding the playdate of My Lady Boss, which was moved to July 3 from the original April 10 screening.
