Louise delos Reyes on 'Basement': "It's a little bit of everything"

It's not Louise delos Reyes' first time to be part of a horror movie. Una siyang napanood sa Yam Laranas film na The Road, na ipinalabas pa sa ibang bansa at naging number one sa Top 25 Most Popular Trailers sa iTunes. Naging bahagi rin ang young Kapuso leading lady ng 13th installment ng Shake, Rattle, and Roll franchise.

After almost three years ay nagbabalik sa horror genre si Louise via Basement, where she plays a band member who also happens to be junkie. Kasama niya sa banda sina Kristoffer Martin, Teejay Marquez and RJ Padilla.

What makes Basement different from her two other horror movies?

"Ang Basement kasi, it's a little bit of everything. Kahit sinabi siyang horror, mayroon siyang drama, action, comedy since nandiyan si Kuya Betong. Siya 'yung nagpapatawa," shares Louise in a recent interview with GMANetwork.com.

Aniya, maraming true-to-life events na makikita sa pelikulang ito, katulad ng pagkukulang sa security ng mall. May drug transaction kasi na magaganap sa basement kung saan ang mismong security guard nito, played by Dion Ignacio, ang isa sa mga dealer.

Malayo din ang theme nito sa iba niyang naging pelikula. " Hindi katulad sa The Road na suspense-thriller and nagdi-deal kami with a psycho killer. 'Yung Shake, Rattle naman, it's about witchcraft. Ito naman, maiba naman, sa basement naman tayo."
