Lauren Young’s first team-up with Richard Gutierrez in Overtime was a great discovery for the young Kapuso actress.  

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, she disclosed some of the things that she discovered about her leading man Richard, when the cameras were not rolling.

The first time she met him, she thought he was so serious that Richard will never speak to her. So it was a big surprise for Lauren that they quickly developed a bond while working on this project.

“It was really, really fun [working with Richard]. When I first met him, I thought he was a very serious person. Kasi parang ang mysterious mo [Richard] and serious,” she said.

She added, “But then when I started working with him, he's very, very nice. Funny actually, we just laugh on the set.”

Lauren shared, that when it comes to work, that is the time when Richard gets really serious. She revealed, “Sa work ethics niya, he's always on time, he comes prepared. Even pagdating sa costume, to the look, he knows what it's supposed to look like for his character.”

For the young actress, Richard will go a long way in the industry not only as a professional actor.

“Nagbi-brainstorm sila nung directors [Earl Ignacio and Wincy Ong] namin lagi. He wants to try and wants to give his input to make the film better. He's very creative,” Lauren said.
