Lauren and Richard on their 'Overtime' directors: "Kabisado nila yung isa't-isa."

First team up nina Lauren Young at Richard Gutierrez ang pelikulang Overtime, at first time rin nilang nakatrabaho ang kanilang two directors na sina Wincy Aquino Ong at Earl Ignacio.
Para kay Lauren, Direk Wincy and Direk Earl is the perfect combination for Overtime.
“You have Direk Wincy who's so good with camera works, who shoots like nag-flow lang yung creative juices niya. And then you have Direk Earl na kapag nao-overexcite na si Direk Wincy, gaganyan na yan 'hindi ito muna gagawin natin'. Parang he brings him back a little bit. So parang they have that certain balance,” saad ni Lauren.
Dagdag niya, “Kung si Direk Wincy more on super creative and puro creative lang talaga, si Direk Earl may creativity rin but he's also more on the technical side. Siya yung nag-guide rin sa'min na gawin mo ito.”
Kuwento naman ni Richard, kakaibang experience para sa kanya ang magkaroon ng dalawang directors para sa isang pelikula.
Aniya, “It was different working with two directors. Different styles pero I mean they work well together. With Direk Wincy and Direk Earl, kumbaga parang kabisado nila yung isa't-isa. I guess yung vision more or less tugma naman they're on the same page. They just have different ways of capturing.”
Magkaiba man ang techniques at strengths nina Direk Wincy and Direk Earl, inspiring pa rin ito umano para sa aktor. Tulad ng sabi ni Lauren, tingin ni Richard ay naibabalanse nila ang isa’t-isa in terms of directing.
“It was an interesting project. Something totally different, the way they capture it, the lighting, it's a fast-paced type of movie totally different [from] what I'm used to,” pahayag ni Richard.
