Mga Kapuso, all praises for 'Kubot'

Celebrities and cast members of the highly-anticipated second installment of The Aswang Chronicles were treated to a VIP screening of Kubot over the weekend.

In attendance at the private screening were Kapuso teen stars Bea Binene, Kristoffer Martin, Barbie Forteza, Derrick Monasterio, Joyce Ching, Jeric Gonzales, Mikoy Morales, Thea Tolentino, and Ken Chan.

“Very entertaining. May action, may nakakatakot, may nakakatawa,” said Bea.

“’Yung visual effects, doon ako pinakanadala eh. Kumbaga lumelevel tayo sa Hollywood. For me, ‘yun ‘yung edge nitong film plus ‘yung story sobrang interesting,” Kristoffer acclaimed.

Barbie said on Instagram, “Effects, humor, action, twists and brilliant acting. Panoorin niyo! Di kayo magsisisi! Dec.25 na!”

Janine also came with her mom Lotlot de Leon who portrays Nieves in the film. 

Max Collins, Arthur Solinap, Rochelle Pangilinan and Senator Sonny Angara were also present at the screening.

Max shared on Instagram, “Sobraaaaang ganda ng movie!!! Ang ganda ng story, acting, effects, lahat…it’s super action packed + funny too. Make sure you watch it on Dec 25!”

Rochelle also had a similar post  and said, “Magkahalong tawa at kaba ang naramdaman ko! Napakagandang story! Amazing special effects! ASTIG ng fight scenes!!”



Dingdong Dantes headlined the second screening for the cast members of Kubot.

“Kailangan talaga ibigay namin ‘yung the best para sa mga manonood natin. Can’t wait!,” the Kapuso Primetime King said in excitement.

Newly-engaged Solenn Heussaff  was also at the screening to support her best friend Isabelle Daza.

Kubot is an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival and will hit theaters starting December 25.
