A song titled ‘Yaya, Nasaan Ka Na?’ has been going around the world of social media.

It was the end product of a mini challenge presented by To The Top correspondent Arianne Bautista to the trainees as seen on the program’s webisode.

The boys drew three words from fish bowls, and were challenged to compose a song that includes their chosen words in the lyrics. For Lance Busa, Miko Manguba and Seph Manlapaz, the words they got were taksil, sinaing and long pants.

With only fifteen minutes to work on a song, the three trainees used their musical instincts, added some humor, and came up with a story on how a house help neglected her chores.

“Sabi ko, ‘what are we gonna do?’ We found out si yaya, hindi nagsaing, hindi namlantsa, tapos natapos namin siya na chorus. Ginawa lang namin na paulit-ulit ‘yung chorus. Naging catchy siya eh,” Lance said.

The mini challenge eventually proved rewarding for Lance, Miko and Seph who emerged as the winners of the music composition challenge. They are products of the De La Salle premier pop vocal group, Innersoul.

“Na-prove na may effect ‘yung Innersoul sa amin. Kumbaga next level na ‘yun for us,” Miko noted about their little victory and their shared journey to the top.
