A win is a win. We say this when, deep, deep down, we know conquests are subject to criticism. Boxing, as a science, is not just sweet. It is also divisive.

Albert Henry Peek's nickname is Ali. As in Muhammad Ali? Peek, however, is nowhere near as brash, controversial, tempestuous as his namesake. Peek is quiet. He tries to blend in. Good luck.

When Joel Banal faced Tim Cone last Wednesday, Banal wasn't worried about Cone just as Cone wasn't concerned about Banal. They were both winless at the time.

In the end, Adamson lost. If they won, the world would have surely rooted for the Falcons against the Ateneo empire. If they won, Adamson would've made for a most compelling story in the Finals. If only.

I think I know how no. 1 rookie draft pick JV Casio and no. 2 Paul Lee will enter the new PBA season. Casio will inspire. Paul Lee will amaze. One description isn't necessarily better than the other.
