Upsilon kicks off centennial bash with rock, jazz concert-party

The Upsilon Sigma Phi will kick off its 100th year anniversary with a rock and jazz concert for all fellows on November 10 at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati City.

The event, hosted by Upsilon's Batch 92 on occasion of its 25th year in the fraternity, will feature legendary rock band The Dawn and superb jazz group Kapamu.

Dinner and drinks will be served. Party starts at 6 p.m.

The Upsilon Sigma Phi was established in the University of the Philippines in November 1918 and has chapters only in the Dillman and Los Baños campuses.

The oldest existing Greek-letter society in Asia, the fraternity enters its centennial having contributed to nation-building with a generous share of leaders in government, the sciences and the arts. —NB, GMA News
