Violent United Airlines passenger removal spawns vicious spoofs, memes
By now, only those who willfully ignore the news haven't seen the video of United Airlines security personnel forcibly dragging a passenger off a plane.
The poor guy — a middle-aged Asian doctor — was manhandled, and in the course of the scuffle, he fell and hit his face on an armrest, causing his mouth to bleed profusely.
People were understandably upset with United Airlines. The man paid for his ticket, and it wasn’t his fault the flight was overbooked. He didn’t deserve such treatment and the Internet has made its feelings known via an endless array of spoof slogans to put the airlines in its place.
On Twitter, people are using the #NewUnitedAirlinesMottos hashtag to create new United Airlines taglines, berating it for its horrid treatment of the passenger.
Below are just a few samples of these spoof slogans.

Last but not least, the incident has reminded someone of one of Robert Stack's classic scenes in "Airplane!"
