The UP Concert Chorus was bestowed the Grand Prix of the 6th International Krakow Choir Festival in Poland Sunday evening after convincing an international jury that they—the only Asian ensemble among 24 choirs from 10 countries—were the best.

Saturday evening, the UPCC competed in the folk-popular-and-Gospel music category for their performance of "Kruhay" (Benny Castillon), "Bagong Umaga" (Mike Villegas, Bayang Barrios), "Hataw Na" (George Black), and ""Let It Be" (John Lennon, Paul McCartney). They won second prize in this category.
