Pia Wurtzbach asks final question in Miss Peru pageant

The new Miss Peru starts her reign on Sunday, April 24, and, like our own Miss Philippines Maxine Medina, the moment her dream came true was made special by the presence of Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. 

Wurtzbach did not just help crown the new Miss Peru, she also served as a judge at the pageant. 

"Tell us, which has been the moment in your life when you felt the most beautiful?" she asked as a final question, as seen in a video shared by her Miss Universe manager, Esther Swan.

Valeria Piazza won the Miss Peru 2016 title.

During her trip, Wurtzbach ran through the Bridge of Sighs in Barranco, Lima and tried authentic ceviche.

She was also received as a "distinguished guest" by the mayor of Lima, Luis Castañeda. —Aya Tantiangco/KG, GMA News
