Kate at 59 and other online royal rib-ticklers

At this point, the world is pretty much divided into two: those who are shaking with excitement to see the dashing Prince William and the charming Kate Middleton tie the knot, and those who would very much like to sit on the couch with a barf bag at the ready because they are so sick of hearing about it. (Speaking of, you can actually buy Kate and Will barf bags online, just to get into the spirit.) Whether you are interested in or incensed by the pomp, one can't deny that some people can be way too imaginative about marking the occasion. Naturally, the Internet is the outlet for all this creativity, which is a good thing for the royalty-obsessed public who need a break from speculating who Prince Harry will bring as his date. Unfortunately, there are no specific websites dedicated to just finding the funny side in the festivities, but there are these gems which will keep you laughing til April 29 and the honeymoon after. 1. All the Memes www.katemiddletonforthewin.tumblr.com You know you have Internet fame down pat when you've got a meme of your own circulating on the web. In fact, Kate and Will have several memes. The Kate Middleton for the Win meme has been making the rounds since the engagement. Kate has been photographed so often, but not a lot of people have heard her speak. This tries to put into dialogue Kate's thoughts as she prepares to become a princess. Hilarious pictures include Kate and Will in action with witty captions of princess-y things Kate will do once the ring is on her finger (I'd like a castle over there, please and Let's do it like the servants do, darling.). If only life was just as easy for us regular folk. The best royal wedding meme? Let this speak for itself:

2. Viral Videos Galore http://www.kateandwilliamwedding.info/royal-wedding-video-official-t-mobile/ There's something about viral videos that’s rather addictive—sort of like coffee, or that Robot Unicorn game. Taking its cue from the hit show Glee, this video spoofs Prince William and Kate Middleton dancing up the aisle with the rest of the royal wedding party. Produced by service provider T-Mobile, the 3-minute video is a testament to the wedding fever that has been sweeping the world of late. This original has inspired several other spoofs, some chuckle-worthy, some just plain weird. It does, however, make one wonder if the wedding would just be a little bit more interesting if the royal couple waltzed in to their wedding vows to the tune of Bruno Mars. Or Ke$ha. 3. Mad Hattery http://madhattery.royalroundup.com/ Just like the Alice in Wonderland character, the British love their tea parties and the women love their hats. Kate has been sporting feathery friends on her crown when seen in public, and she is just one in a long list of royals who have worn unusual and ridiculous royal hats. With a timeline of weddings, christenings, events and launches archived for easy access to photos, Mad Hattery promises the very best in ludicrous royal toppers Nobody is spared from the cheeky commentary that accompanies the posts—from Her Majesty the Queen Regent of Thailand to Her Royal Highness the Countess of Paris, even Her Majesty the Queen of England herself! Since Kate Middleton and her impending wedding has joined the roster, the Mad Hatter has been keeping up to date with a full list of royals attending the wedding and speculating as to what sort of head gear they'll be sporting on the big day. There's even a calendar of upcoming activities so other Mad Hatters can keep tabs. From curious berets and beribboned bowlers to hair hats and furry monstrosities, this blog is guaranteed to leave you with one thought—what were they thinking? 4. The Kate Middleton Report http://katemiddletonblog.wordpress.com/ This blog is nothing short of a Kate Middleton watch. Indeed updated daily, it's chock-full of gossip and tidbits, from a bridal gown vigil to the bridesmaids to Kate’s pregnancy status (or lack thereof) to what comes after the wedding. There’s even speculation on what the lovely couple will look like in 2041. Honestly, this site may be bordering on obsessive. If I were Kate, I’d be wary. 5. Tweets from HM the Queen http://twitter.com/QueenLizII You saw this coming. What would happen if Her Majesty the Queen had a Twitter account? Well, the world would be privy to her social life. With tweets like “We are astonished to learn that our grandson's marriage to that peasant woman will indeed occur and is not, as we assumed, a prank," and “Thank you one and all for your birthday wishes! We spent the evening drinking tequila with J.K. Rowling and the Beckhams," this Twitter account leaves us wondering what epicness will ensue on the day of the wedding. By the way, her grandson has gotten in on the action, and is currently bemoaning the last few days of his bachelor status. This future king isn’t waiting 59 years for the throne, though. Or so he says. Follow him at @William_HRH. RUNNER-UP: This almost made it... Crown Jewels Condoms http://www.crownjewelscondoms.com/heritage.html But this may be taking it a bit too far. - GMA News
