Penshoppe launches new campaign with fashion model Gigi Hadid


American fashion model and television personality Gigi Hadid was revealed as the new face of the Philippine-based international casual wear brand Penshoppe on Tuesday, May 17.

Hadid is a social media giant with almost 18 million Instagram followers and more than 2 million followers on Twitter.  She joins friends and fellow models Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner as endorses of the brand, along with other big names like Lucky Blue Smith, Sean O'Pry, Mario Maurer, and Sandara Park.

“Who wouldn’t want Gigi to be part of their team? She’s authentic. She’s a girl who knows how to have fun and has a great sense of style… The clothes look great on her,” said Penshoppe brand director Jeff Bascon at the launch of Penshoppe’s new DenimLab line Power Stretch at Shooting Gallery in Makati this week.

Gigi personally addressed her Filipino fans in a tweet a few moments after she was launched as the newest member of #TeamPenshoppe.

“I had so much fun shooting this campaign and I hope you guys love it as much as I do. Hope to see you soon!” she said in a short video from Penshoppe.

Fans are now excited for the possibility of Gigi visiting the Philippines, just like the brand ambassadors who came before her.

But before anything else, the supermodel shows off Penshoppe's newest denim offerings in a launch campaign shot on location in Los Angeles, California, United States by fashion and celebrity photographer Yu Tsai.
