Miss World PHL 2018 kicks off with sizzling runway show

Bad weather was not a problem for this year's batch of Miss World candidates. No stage is safe — these women came to slay.

An overwhelming total of 40 candidates stormed the runway in Bench Body swimwear Tuesday afternoon at Resorts World Manila for their first official appearance before the press. 

Which of these lovely women are you rooting for?

Miss World Philippines 2018 has a particularly high bar to clear for the winners. The previous batch won 3 out of the 4 international titles — Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Eco Tourism, and Miss Multinational. 

National Director Arnold Vegafria teased that there could be two new crowns this year.
