Celebrities attend #MaineforMAC lipstick launch
Maine Mendoza sure has a stellar support system.
Her closest friends from the industry made sure they were present at the launch of her lipstick collaboration with coveted makeup brand MAC Cosmetics on Wednesday night at the Grand Hyatt in Bonifacio Global City.
Some of the celebrities who attended the event include Pauline Luna, Luane Dy, Patricia Tumulak, Ciara Sotto, Ruby Rodriguez and Sheena Halili.
Maine and Sheena had a cute moment at the launch dancing to Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl."
Making sure her lipstick would fit every Filipina's skin tone for every kind of occassion, Maine's lippie shade is a muted peachy beige shade with a matte finish.
"Opted for a nude shade with matte finish that would work well on a variety of skin tones. I want this to be the universal nude lipstick since you can wear it with anything— from casual to formal— at any time of the day regardless of the occasion! (You can also adjust the tone by wearing a lipliner underneath, if ever you find it too light or if you just want an extra pop!)," Maine wrote on IG.
The Kalyeserye sweetheart expressed how happy she feels to be given the opportunity to customize her own shade of MAC lipstick and have it shared.
"Really excited for you guys to have it! Still feels surreal to actually have my very own lipstick with MAC. Thank you very much, @maccosmeticsph! (@gaylaochen!) I will be forever honoured and grateful for being a #MACMaker," she added.
The lipstick will be available on September 21 at Lazada and will be launched at SM Megamall on September 22. It will be available in MAC kiosks nationwide on September 23.
