We have more details about Solenn Heussaff's sustainable swimwear collaboration

Of course everybody's heard about Solenn Heussaff's swimwear collaboration with Save the Palawan Seas and the brand, Body Party.

The Kapuso actor designed some swimsuits that are made out of 100% recycled fishnets and plastic bottles

According to a press statement from Body Party, Solenn's natured-inspired artworks, "Lanai," "Chick and Boys" and "1/5" — all from her previous collections — have been printed on the sustainable swimsuit pieces.

"Lanai" is an interpretation of the Palm Beach life, presumably in Florida, with lots of blues and pinks, while "1/5" is all about the lush warmth of life.

"Chick and Boys," meanwhile, depicts a moment of the vibrant life in the Philippines.

Her art will be featured in various Body Party swimsuits, including a one-piece, bikini tops and bottoms. It starts at P2,300 and go up to just P3,575.

The pieces will not only benefit the wearer but also The Save Palawan Seas foundation, with 20% of the proceeds aiding the communities in Palawan.

According to Body Party, it took them four months to conceptualize and actualize, getting in touch with Solenn because "Body Party loves working with artists who take inspiration from nature and art and [Solenn's] work and advocacy [reflects exactly that].

"She's been part of Save Palawan Seas Foundation since January, and her upcoming exhibit is based on the the concept, 'Things that our children won't see if humanity keeps destroying what Mother Earth gave us'," a representative of Body Party told GMA News Online.

"Body Party’s new collection will aid in providing beneficiary communities in Palawan sustainable sources of income without harming the environment," the press statement read.

The #SolennArtxBodyParty collection will only be available online. Check it out here.
