While Davao City is perhaps the famous tourist destination in Davao del Sur, the less frequented Digos City also has world-class tourist attractions and beautiful scenery to offer. Last Aug. 17, the GMA News TV travel program "Weekend Getaway" visited this amazing destination.  Here are just some of the sights and acitivities that await visitors to Digos City.
The best way to get around Digos City is by renting a car from one of the various rental shops in downtown Digos.

Only a few minutes away by boat from Barangay Bato Port is the beautiful Passig Islet. This manmade island used to be the base of the Philippine Coast Guard, but is now an aqua eco-park resort where tourists go to swim and relax.

Another attraction you shouldn’t miss is the Kublai Art Garden, the brainchild of Mindanaoan artist Kublai Millan.  Kublai Millan’s works of art depict the lives of the people of Mindanao.

Veggie Heaven Because of its cool climate, Digos City produces various vegetables and plants, like the lotus plant, a native delicacy.
Zip City
If you’re up for an adrenaline rush, try the zipline at the famous Zip City. It's located at Hilltop, Barangay Langub.
