Pia Wurtzbach's first trip to Latin America

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach traveled to Lima, Peru last week to fulfill her duties as the 'Queen of the Universe.'

Among her activities are the press conference for the upcoming Miss Peru 2016, and a brief meeting with Lima City Mayor Luis Castañeda, who honored her with the “Distinguished Guest of Lima” recognition.

Pia also had lunch with several Peruvian beauty queens, including Miss Peru Universe 2015 Laura Spoya.

In an Instagram post, the Filipina beauty queen revealed that this is her first time in Latin America.

“No matter the location, no matter which country I'm visiting, each place has something beautiful and unique. I hope to travel to as many different places as possible to see everything this Earth has to offer,” she said.
