Fil-Brit Bond girl Rachel Grant showcases the beauty of the Philippines in her online video series

While the Philippines has remained an under-the-radar destination, the world is slowly coming around at our door step, and a lot of it has to do with efforts of individuals like Filipino-British Rachel Grant.

Most popularly known as the Bond girl opposite Pierce Brosnan in "Die Another Day", Grant produced a 12-part video series on the Philippines called "Fun in the Philippines".

She collaborated with multimedia platform Storia and worked on it for two straight weeks. "It was just two of us on the job," Grant tells GMA News Online. She wrote and produced the videos, handpicking the locations, while her cameraman Luis did the filming and editing duties.

According to a press statement, the video series has been endorsed by the Department of Tourism.

Among Philippines destinations featured in the series are Antique where she experienced the Kawa Hot Bath, Quezon where she visited the walang kupas Villa Escudero, and Pangasinan where she traversed the Angel Cave.

More recently, Grant turned viral for her video content titled "How to pack over 100 items into a carry-on", receiving a Shorty Award for her travel and lifestyle videos that accumulated over 100 million views.

Apart from being an actress, Grant is also involved in humanitarian work, establishing an evacuation center in Pangasinan for residents displaced by Typhoon Emong in 2009.
