Major foreign airlines move to NAIA-3 next week
Five major airlines are transferring flight operations to Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 (NAIA-3), starting next week when NAIA-3 starts to operate as a full-scale global gateway.
Department of Transportation and Communications spokesman Michael Sagcal said Delta Airlines, KLM, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific and Emirates will use NAIA-3 starting August.
Sagcal said Delta will use NAIA-3 for flight operations starting Aug. 1 and the others will "move within August."
The five airlines have been operating from the ageing NAIA Terminal 1.
Full airline operations at NAIA T3 by next week. Delta moves flights starting Aug. 1; KLM, Singapore, Cathay, Emirates move within Aug.
