Cebu Pacific is hiring cabin crew


Cebu Pacific is hiring around 100 cabin crew to increase its in-flight service attendants to more than 1,800.

The low-cost carrier will hold recruitment fairs in Manila, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, and Iloilo sometime in September and October.

The job fairs will be held at the Cebu Pacific Building in Pasay City) on Sept. 3, Iloilo Business Hotel in Iloilo City n Sept. 9, Park Inn By Radisson Davao in Davao City on September 24, and Mallberry Suites Business Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City on Sept. 30.

“We offer excellent career opportunities and progression, exposure to vast global network of exciting destinations, unlimited travel benefits and competitive packages for fun and dynamic individuals," said JR Mantaring, Cebu Pacific vice president for Corporate Affairs, said on Friday.

"Applicants must possess a dynamic personality, height of at least 5’3” for female, and 5’7” for male, weight that is proportional to height, clear complexion, good eyesight, and a catchy smile, among others," the airline said.

Among the responsibilities of the cabin crew are guaranteeing the safety of passengers on board the aircraft and ensuring that they have a fun and pleasant flying experience, it added. — Ted Cordero/VDS, GMA News
