Petroleum prices going up on Tuesday


After four consecutive weeks of rollbacks, pump prices of petroleum products are going up this week starting Tuesday.

In separate advisories, Flying V and Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said they will raise gasoline prices by P0.30 per liter, diesel by P0.70 per liter, and kerosene by P0.55 per liter.

Eastern Petroleum, PTT Philippines, and TOTAL (Philippines) Corp. will also implement the same adjustments, excluding kerosene.

The changes will take effect at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4 for all firms except for Flying V which will adjust prices at 12:01 a.m. the same day.

According to data from the Department of Energy (DOE), diesel prices in the country currently range from P27.35 to P31.46 per liter and gasoline from P38.95 to P51.01 per liter.
