Reasons for executing the affidavit

JUNE 12, 2001

MAY 20, 2003

MARCH 2, 2007

"that I am narrating my actual and truthful knowledge and recollection about the DACER-CORBITO case:""These series and continuing 'pressures' on me have indeed taken its toll on my person. On account of which, I have decided to call it quits to all these fabricated and scripted drama. The abovementioned personalities are only using me to pin down innocent souls, specifically SEN. LACSON, whom they really want me to implicate with these alleged illegal activities.

"I am executing this affidavit to prove the threats and intimidation applied on my person in forcing me to sign fabricated affidavits, including the handwritten affidavit dated 12 June 2001, and to belie the statements contained therein." (page 4)

  • to state that he is being forced to implicate certain persons in the Dacer-Corbito murders
  • to state that he fears for his life
"I have, of my own free will and volition, executed this affidavit to reiterate and describe the efforts by certain Philippine Government officials to threaten, coerce and intimidate me into falsely implicating their political opponents in order to stymied them in their political career. Further, I reiterate my fear that I will be tortured as what happened to me in the past, and/or be killed by persons connected with the present Philippine Administration if I were to return to the Philippines." (page 3)
