Taiwanese company in need of 150 Filipino factory workers


The IMEI Foods Corporation in Taiwan is in urgent need of 150 Filipino factory workers, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) said on Tuesday . The POEA said IMEI is in need of 30 female workers and 120 male workers. Female applicants must not be more than 28 years of age, must be at least 5’2" in height, and between 48 to 68 kilograms in weight. Those with a background in nursing are preferred, specifically in handling injectible materials in food preparation, and those with experience in food quality control and food industry machine operations. On the other hand, male applicants must not be more than 32 years of age, must be at least 5 ft. 6 in. in height, and between 58 to 78 kilograms in weight. Those with skills in welding, air conditioning repair, electrical works, cooking, food industry machine operation, and construction are preferred. In addition, both male and female applicants must not have any tattoos on their body and must not be smokers. They must also have a passport valid for at least three years and can speak, read, and understand English. Those with college degrees are preferred. Qualified applicants may personally submit a detailed resumé with job description, school credentials, employment certificates, passport copy and two pieces 2X2 recent picture at the Manpower Registry Division, Window M, Ground Floor, Blas F. Ople Building (formerly POEA Bldg.), Ortigas Avenue corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City. They may also register online at the POEA website or at www.eregister.poea.gov.ph.
