2 killed as wall collapses on houses in Valenzuela

At least two people were killed while two were injured after a wall collapsed on two houses in Valenzuela City amid heavy rain on Tuesday.

 

The incident occurred in Ugong village in the city before noon, according to a report by radio dzBB's Allan Gatus.

 

Sketchy initial reports indicated the wall gave way due to the heavy rain, which had pelted Metro Manila since Monday night.

 

Rescue teams rushed to the scene to search for more possible survivors.

 

The report said the two injured were brought to the Valenzuela City General Hospital for treatment. –KG, GMA News
