Classes suspended in four Valenzuela City schools


Following the floods brought by heavy rain Sunday, classes in four schools in Valenzuela City are suspended on Monday.
 
In a post on its Twitter account, the Valenzuela City government said the four schools are: 
 
- A. Deato Elementary School
- Pio Valenzuela Elementary School
- Pasolo Elementary School
- Tagalag Elementary School
 
Floods brought by heavy rain since Sunday afternoon had affected many parts of Metro Manila, though they had subsided in most parts of the metropolis.
 
In a separate post on its Facebook page, the city government said the flooded areas as of 10 p.m. Sunday included: 
 
- Dalandanan: Astrodome: 5 inches
- Pasolo: Corner G. Lazaro: 16 inches
- Pasolo Elementary School: 11 inches
- Mabolo: San Roque: 6-7 inches; Hong Kong Panciteria: 9 inches
- Bisig: MH Del Pilar corner Bisig: 6-7 inches; in front of Brgy. Hall: 16-17 inches
- Isla: MH Del Pilar corner Isla: 8-9 inches; Isla Elementary School: 4 inches
- Polo: VC Emergency Hospital: 16 inches, in front of Pio Elementary School: 3 inches
- Poblacion: BFP: 15 inches
- Balangkas: P. Deato: 17 inches
- Palasan: MH Del Pilar along Valenzuela St.: 14-15 inches; MH Del Pilar road: 2-3 inches
- Arkong Bato: San Diego St.: 13 inches, Urutia St.: 8 inches
- Coloong: MH Del Pilar corner Coloong I: 6 inches
