NCRPO to hold surprise inspection of precincts as All Saints' Day, Xmas holidays draw closer


With the All Saints' and Christmas holidays drawing closer, the Metro Manila police will hold surprise inspections of precincts to make sure police personnel there are on alert.
 
Metro Manila police head Chief Superintendent Leonardo Espina warned sanctions await personnel caught slacking off, radio dzBB's Glen Juego reported.
 
Espina was quoted in the report as saying he expects the five districts under his command to regularly conduct the inspections of the police community precincts.
 
Only earlier this week, an officer of the Eastern Police District was relieved from his post for not responding promptly to the complaint of a taxi driver who lost his earnings and cab to a robber.
 
Metro Manila police are preparing to secure Filipinos who will head to the cemeteries this November to pay their respects to their dearly departed.
 
Also, the Metro Manila police is on alert for an increase in criminality as the Christmas holidays draw closer.
