Wife of lawyer Raymond Fortun shot by motorcyle-riding men

Carole Fortun, the wife of lawyer Raymond Fortun, was shot in the face by unknown gunmen outside their residence in Las Piñas Thursday night.

 

According to a report by Super Radyo dzBB's Manny Vargas, Mrs. Fortun was shot at around 8 p.m. and was hit in the neck. The bullet exited through her left cheek and missed vital organs, the report said.

She is undergoing treatment at the University of Perpetual Help medical center.

 

Police Chief Superintendent Jose Erwin Villacorte, Southern Police District chief, said they are looking for two men on a motorcycle they believe are responsible for the shooting.

According to the dzBB report, a witness said the gun used to shoot Mrs. Fortun was "shiny". Police said she may have been shot with a revolver because no slugs were found on the scene. — JDS/ELR, GMA News
