Six suspected drug pushers killed in separate incidents in Metro Manila

A total of six suspected drug pushers were killed in different incidents across Metro Manila on Wednesday and Thursday, reports on Unang Balita on Thursday said.

Tondo

Two suspects died during a buy-bust operation at the Temporary Housing Vitas in Tondo Wednesday night, a report by Vonne Aquino said.

One of the suspects was identified as Danilo Guevarra, also known as “Kuba.”

The other suspect killed was a police officer named Bobby Orit. It was discovered that Orit has been absent without official leave as a police officer.

According to the Manila Police District Station 1 Police Chief, the poseur-buyer was supposed to buy P2,000 worth of shabu when Guevarra noticed the operation, prompting the shootout.

Valenzuela

In Valenzuela, a notorious drug pusher was killed by authorities in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bagbaguin at past 12 a.m. Thursday.

The victim, named Henry Francisco, was number one on the Valenzuela drug watchlist.

According to Valenzuela Police Chief Ronaldo Mendoza, the police was prompted to shoot Francisco when he pulled out his .38 calibre gun.

The police had been tailing Francisco for a few weeks before the said operation.

Recovered from his house were four sachets of shabu, drug paraphernalia, and improvised toother.

Francisco’s mother however belied police claims that her son tried to pull out a gun. She insisted that Francisco had already surrendered to the police.

Quezon City

The same fate happened to alias “Hapon” who was killed by the Quezon City Police Department (QCPD) in Barangay E. Rodriguez during a buy-bust operation, a separate report by Jay Sabale said.

According to the police, they fired shots when Hapon tried to pull his gun when he sensed the poseur buyer.

He was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

The QCPD recovered from him a .45-caliber gun and ten sachets of shabu.

Paco, Manila

Meanwhile, bodies of two suspected female drug pushers were found in Paco Park early Thursday.

The police suspects that the two are victims of summary executions.

According to a witness, someone riding a vehicle fired shots at the two women on the streetside and immediately left the scene.

The still unidentified victims had their mouths shut with a duct tape. They were also blindfolded.
