Source: Karen Bordador tests negative for drugs; boyfriend, positive

Radio DJ Karen Bordador asked for prayers after she and boyfriend Emilio Lim faced preliminary investigation at the Pasig City Prosecutor's Office on Friday.

"Please pray for us," Bordador said in Marisol Abdurahman's exclusive report on GMA News TV's "State of the Nation."

This developed as a reliable source said Bordador's drug test came out negative.

Lim, however, tested postive for drug use, the source said.

The Southern Police District refused to confirm the report.

Senior Superintendent Tomas Apolinario said the drug test had no bearing on Lim and Bordador's cases.

Lim and Bordador are facing charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

They were arrested in a raid on Lim's condominium unit. The operation yielded P2.8 million worth of ecstasy and marijuana. —NB, GMA News
