Two arrested as police raid cybersex den in Malabon

The Philippine National Police (PNP) Anti-Cybercrime Group arrested two suspects in a raid on Thursday on a cybersex den in Barangay Longos, Malabon City, a report on Unang Balita on Friday said.

Authorities identified the suspects as Edison Manoso alias "Cristine" and Marvin Acaba alias "Tanya," alleged operator of the cybersex den, GMA News' Victoria Tulad reported.

Manoso was caught in the middle of a cyber sex show at the third floor of a building in Barangay 40, Lot 24, Phase 3 in Barangay Longos.

The suspect was seen using a computer with his webcam on while performing an obscene show through a certain website in exchange for money.

Sex toys and estrogen pills were also found in the cybersex den.

Cops seized three computers and other digital equipment. A flash drive said to be containing nude photos was also confiscated.

The two suspects refused to comment on the matter.

"Nagsho-show sila doon eh. Nagpapakita sila ng mga lascivious acts, 'yung mga gano'n, obscene shows. Kung ano 'yung sinabi ng guest nila ay 'yun ang gagawin nila. Kumikita sila ng mga P30,000 to P60,000 per model," Supt. Darwin Miranda of the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group said.

The suspects will face charges for violating provisions under Republic Act 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012. —Marlly Rome Bondoc/KG, GMA News
